TERROIR

TERROIR est une exposition/atelier mettant en lumière le travail des artistes Jonas Edvard et Nikolaj Steenfatt, soit une collection d'objets avec pour matériau primaire de l'algue, offrant une alternative écologique.
TERROIR offre le mariage entre théorie et pratique permettant de capter le visiteur et le sensibiliser sur les enjeux économiques et écologiques qu’implique un tel matériau. Accueillit par une brève exposition qui l’introduit au sujet, le visiteur est ensuite propulsé dans un atelier didactique retraçant le processus de création dont il devient l’acteur.
TERROIR is an exhibition/workshop putting spotlight on artists and designers Jonas Edvard and Nikolaj Steenfatt's work, consisting in a collection of furniture made out of bio-based materials.
TERROIR offers the union between practice and theory to capture the visitor's attention and raise awareness about economic and environnemental issues when it comes to this material. Welcomed by a brief exhibition introducing to the subject, visitors are then invited to participate in an educative workshoph retracing the creative process of such sustainable furniture.
